Canadian Preliminary Quantitative Risk Assessment (PQRA)

Intrinsik has conducted Preliminary Quantitative Risk Assessments (PQRA) for federally-owned properties all across Canada.  We are familiar with the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP) and the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) guidelines that are considered a part of these risk assessments.

Our scientific experts have played a major role in conducting numerous risk assessment projects of various complexity (qualitative, screening-level, preliminary, and detailed-quantitative).   Intrinsik has completed these assessments of human risks associated with liquid effluents (i.e., pulp and paper mill), airborne emissions (i.e., incinerators, smelters), runoff from agricultural and urban sites, and other contaminated sites for both Provincial and Federal Governments.
