Marcela Solórzano is the Health Communications Manager at Intrinsik Ltd.  Marcela began her communication career in Nicaragua working as a community liaison representative for a geothermal project in a rural area of the country.  Her experience with environmental risk communication and her international affairs background were a perfect fit for a multi-cultural Los Angeles where she moved to in 1999.

Marcela works directly with clients, communities and environmental regulatory agencies in the development and distribution of scientific and health risk information in both English and Spanish.  Marcela has extensive experience in translating technical and scientific outreach documents to Spanish.  And in addition to Spanish, she is fluent in French.  The longest standing member of the Venice Beach team, Marcela is unique in her experience and skills in translating technical documents and conducting effective community outreach.  Marcela hold an MS in International Relations from Troy State University.
