Dr. Laura Bowie is a board-certified toxicologist and has been involved in a broad range of preclinical development activities as a member of the Intrinsik toxicology team since 2019. Her primary focus as a regulatory toxicologist is to evaluate preclinical data to support authoring or review of regulatory submissions (e.g., INDs, NDAs, BLAs, CTAs, NDS, MAAs) as well as carrying out gap analyses for drug or pharmaceutical products, biologics, and drug delivery systems. Dr. Bowie is also responsible for the completion of nonclinical literature reviews for 505(b)2 and SRTD submissions as well as authoring white papers and weight of evidence documents (e.g., carcinogenicity, DART, single species justification). Dr Bowie is also involved in the design, development, and execution of protocols for nonclinical studies including general toxicology, safety pharmacology, PK/ADME, genotoxicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, juvenile toxicity, carcinogenicity studies, as well as efficacy studies using established and novel model systems.

Authors and reviews content for regulatory submissions (pre-IND, IND, pre-CTA, CTA, IB, NDA, NDS, MAA) for broad range of therapies and therapeutic areas
Prepares nonclinical testing strategies and data gap analyses for pharmaceuticals and biologics covering a broad range of therapeutic areas.
Toxicology expert for regulatory submissions.
